Midwifery
Many women want a more personal pregnancy and women's health experience. They seek to partner with a clinician who respects their choices, listens to their concerns and offers expert guidance. That's where midwives come in. Whether you're expecting a baby or simply seeking gynecologic care, midwives provide a trusted, patient-centered approach that blends modern medical training with a deep commitment to your well-being.
Overview
Midwives are highly trained registered nurses who partner with healthcare systems to support women's health through every stage of pregnancy and beyond. These professionals must complete a rigorous graduate program, focused on women's health and midwifery. After passing a national certification exam, they earn the title of Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
